I’ll take it as a good sign that folks are already biding each other 6 days out from the end of the auction. 8 bids and 542 page views. Most things I sell on eB ay get next to no action until right before the end. I’ve gotten questions from and have corresponded with a couple of bidders already. I may have underestimated interest in the car. I didn’t even try submitting it to BAT, as my take on most of the racecars that end up there are ones that have more provenance , are far prettier or are otherwise a bit more special than just an old IT car.
All of the inquiries from the Craigslist ad have been scams so far. Given that I know most, if not all, of the road racers I’m not really expecting a sale of this car via list o’ Craig. It’s a bit too specialized for purchase by anyone not already a road racer or likely to be well on the way to being one.

I think your car could have gone to BaT. Sold as a “rare” vintage Honda.
I don’t know however that I would have done better.

You have amazing level of detailed records, it’s had s uccess at the level you’ve raced it and it’s a good looking car in it’s own right. I’d be tempted if it weren’t for how far away I am from contemplating racing..

I hope it goes to a good home and you get some decent money for it! :)

Is that the end of your exhaust below the bumper skin? If yes have you run it that way for long? I would think that would be a sure way to melt the skin......

I think you’re seeing an effect of the angle and shadow. The exhaust exits in the in the OEM location, and it isn’t touching the bumper.

Cool. I’ve been at more than one race where the bumper was melted.

Just asking to confirm; have you have raced with the exhaust in that configuration?
